I don't believe in God, but I don...I'm an agnostic. I don't believe in God, but I don't dismiss the idea that I could be wrong.

HOWEVER, that's not what I'm posting about. I'm posting about the 'food for thought'.

As I said, I'm not a Christian, but the typical Christian (not those crazy fundamentalists) does NOT believe God can do the logically impossible. Sure, he can make one heavy rock. But do things that are logically impossible, such as make a square triangle. That's what most Christians believe. I repeat; all-powerful does NOT include logically impossible. End of Christian belief.

Though, I guess God *could* make a rock too heavy for him to lift, then increase his strength to lift it, then lower it afterward. But that doesn't technically solve the problem. If God existed though, rules such as "I cannot lift a rock too heavy for me to lift" or "I cannot have a triangle with 4 sides and corners." would be created *by* him, and so he could take them down any time he wishes. Sure, it's mind-boggling to try and picture either of these scenarios in action, but that could be because we have no experience of witnessing something to devoid of natural logic that we can compare it to and let our imaginations take it from there.

Done.
http://savehaanzfromwork.spaces.live.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32078380.post-44059070034814962032007-02-07T12:48:00.000-05:002007-02-07T12:48:00.000-05:00Or, as I have heard it put elsewhere:
